This Privacy Policy describes how Director ("Director", "we", "us"), operated by Unc's Table LLC, collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our content scheduling and publishing service.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create a Director account, we collect your name, email address, password (hashed), and any optional profile details you provide.

Connected Platform Data

When you connect a third-party account (TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, X, etc.) via OAuth, we receive an access token along with the basic profile and permission scopes you authorize. We do not receive or store your passwords for those services.

Depending on the scopes you grant, we may access:

Your basic profile information (username, display name, profile picture)
The ability to upload videos and content on your behalf
Limited analytics about content you publish through Director

Content You Upload or Generate

Videos, captions, scripts, schedules, and any content you create or upload through Director are stored in our systems for the purpose of providing the Service.

Usage Data

We log basic technical information such as IP address, device type, browser version, timestamps of actions, and feature usage. This helps us improve performance and detect abuse.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

Provide, maintain, and improve Director's features
Authenticate you and protect your account from unauthorized access
Publish content to your connected platforms when you authorize it
Communicate with you about your account, service updates, or support
Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents
Comply with legal obligations

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these limited cases:

With third-party platforms you connect (e.g., TikTok, YouTube) to publish your content on your behalf, in line with the OAuth scopes you grant
With service providers that help us operate Director (cloud hosting, error monitoring, email delivery), under written confidentiality agreements
To comply with law when required by valid legal process
In connection with a business transfer (merger, acquisition, asset sale), with notice to affected users

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on industry-standard cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. We follow security best practices including access controls, audit logging, and routine reviews. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection.

5. Data Retention

We retain account and content data for as long as your account is active. After account deletion, we retain limited records (such as billing history) for the period required by applicable law, and remove the rest within 90 days.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

Access the personal information we hold about you
Correct inaccuracies in your information
Request deletion of your account and associated data
Export your content
Withdraw consent or revoke OAuth permissions at any time
Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority

7. Children's Privacy

Director is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If we learn we have collected data from a minor, we will delete it.

8. International Users

Director is operated from the United States. If you use the Service from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S. By using Director, you consent to this transfer.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect.
